Job Description
AFFCO Horotiu currently has an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Planner to join their engineering team. Reporting to the Plant Engineer, the Maintenance Planner will monitor general maintenance for all departments, coordinate contractors, source quotes for projects, monitor the R&M log controls and liaise with Supervisors to ensure that production requirements are met.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning all R&M jobs and ensure appropriate parts are available
- Project management
- Contractor Management, ensuring all liability agreements and insurance details are kept up to date
- Manage electrical and mechanical inventory ensuring stock levels are maintained
- Procurement
- Oversee and manage compliance register and installation of MEX completed for the Trades Department
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:
- Ability to work and engage in a team environment and build trust
- Delegation of tasks and ability to understand individual skillsets
- Ability to minimise production downtime
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Prior maintenance experience in an industrial environment advantageous
- Mechanical and Electrical knowledge advantageous
- Comfortable working with modern CMMS systems
- Previous experience with MEX would be an advantage
- Strong project management ability and experience
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Software literacy (MS Teams, MS Office suite, Smartsheet, MEX, Forms, Power Bi etc advantageous)
